Coraggio!

“Coraggio! Lunedì torniamo in fascia gialla!”

Are males better than females?

The never solved question has recently rised in scope chess and aroused an outcry as GM's UK player Nigel Short was quoted to declare that men are more suitable than females on playing chess.

The quarrel is ancient like humanhood. Nigel Short, as matter of fact, said he was misunderstood as ho wanted just say the men and women are different and act with different skills, sometimes superiors to those of men.

According to a recent  scientific report in Pennsylvania University, women usually work with both brain's hemispheres while men seem to privilige the right hemisphere.

Personally  I think that both sexes do excel in something and that they are simply complentary one each other.

It's a useless competition try to make a rank of classification to establish which one is the better.

Eventually never forget that between the two litigants has the third, as the proverb says.

7 Reasons to Hire a Manny

  1. Providing a Male Role Model – Single working mothers or families headed by two women may prefer a male nanny over his female counterparts, simply to provide a strong male role model that may be otherwise missing from a child’s life. By hiring a qualified and capable manny, you’ll be ensuring that your sons have a positive role model and that your daughters benefit from the presence of a male figure in her life.
  2. Your Child Has Special Needs – Kids with special needs, especially those with mobility problems, may benefit from having a male nanny whose physical strength allows him to more easily move and maneuver around wheelchairs or other bulky specialized equipment. Some children that have developmental disorders such as an autism spectrum disorder or Down’s syndrome may even feel more comfortable with a male childcare provider, depending upon their individual preferences. If you know that your special needs child is more secure and happier in the presence of men than women, hiring a manny is a great way to ensure that those needs are met.
  3. Safety and Security – Generalizations aside, intruders, kidnappers and other predators may be less likely to make an attempt on a child whose caregiver is male, even if that manny isn’t particularly large or muscular. Parents with security concerns or worries about the safety of their home and children while they’re away may feel more comfortable knowing that their manny serves as a crime deterrent simply by doing his job.
  4. He’s the Most Qualified Applicant For the Job – If you’ve interviewed a dozen nannies and none fit the bill, but have encountered a manny with impeccable references, a strong work history, and plenty of experience, the reasons to hire him far outweigh any societal concerns that might move you to opt for a less-qualified female applicant.
  5. You’re Not Interested in Traditional Gender Stereotypes – Some socially progressive families may hire a manny simply to underscore the flippant attitude about traditional gender roles; other families may just be utterly disinterested with such things. If you fall into either camp and you’ve managed to find a manny who fits the bill, hiring him might be the wisest choice you’ve ever made. In addition to providing your children with quality childcare, you’re also providing them with a household where such things are of no concern; rather than growing up with a stilted worldview, your children will be able to accept non-traditional gender roles and careers in a way that their peers may have find difficult to grasp.
  6. Your Boys Are Exceptionally Into Contact Sports – Though there are definitely a high number of athletic, physically active nannies in the hiring pool, a manny may be more suited to your needs if you have children that are looking for a constant teammate and coach who loves male dominated sports. For families with older boys who participate heavily in contact sports, having a practice partner or someone to help lug the gear into the boys dressing room can be an added bonus.
  7. You Have a Child With Behavioral Problems – Because men can often project an air of authority with little effort, some kids that have behavioral problems may find it more difficult to challenge a male nanny and are thus inspired to exert more self-control than they might under the care of a traditional female nanny. While this certainly isn’t always the case, it may be worth a try if you’re struggling with your child’s behavior.
Gwyneth and Madonna may have been among the first to put mannies in the eye of the paparazzi, but they definitely didn’t start the trend. Even sitcoms have seen their share of iconic mannies: Who’s the Boss and Charles in Charge centered around the daily lives of their manny protagonists, and even the sitcom juggernaut Friends got in on the manny action briefly, with Freddie Prinze, Jr. making a cameo.

How to Show Your Nanny Appreciation Without Spending a Dime

Many nanny employers deeply appreciate the commitment and dedication that their nanny gives to their family, and would love to dish out lavish bonuses and expensive gifts as a token of their appreciation, but simply don’t have a budget to allow for that after paying their nanny.
The good news is that it doesn’t take an additional financial investment to show you’re nanny that you truly appreciate her. A few kind words, a moment of your time, or a handmade gift will go a long way in showing your nanny that you genuinely care for and appreciate her.
When considering how to show your nanny you appreciate her, first evaluate how the kids can help.  Whether it’s posing for a photo, stamping their footprints on a card or having the children help to prepare her a special meal, children of any age can help to show their nanny that she is loved.  The children’s age and skill level will determine what role they can play in doing something special for their nanny. Older kids may choose to write a poem or give an independent gift while younger children may prefer to do something together.
Second, choose a budget friendly project.  Handmade scrapbooks with photos of the nanny and children together are grand tokens of appreciation. Older children can make or decorate frames that can hold a favorite photo. They can also write letters to their nanny to thank her for helping to care for them. Families can bake cookies or make a meal together to express their appreciation. The project you decide on can be as simple or as elaborate as you like. A tech-savvy dad may enjoy putting together a slideshow made from photos of the children and the nanny. A mom who enjoys knitting may have the children help pick out yarn for a scarf she’ll then knit.
If you don’t have time to tackle a huge project, consider doing a thank you jar. Take a clear jar and put a slit in the cover. Each time you think of something your nanny has done that you appreciate, write it on a slip of paper and put it in the jar.  Once the jar is filled up, give her your collection of thanks. Children can also add contributions and help to decorate the jar with paint or stickers.
Lastly, after you’ve chosen a project, prepare to give it to her. If the children are old enough, they’ll likely want to enjoy giving their nanny a gift. If you’re hosting a dinner for her, have them make invitations and help to set the table. If you’re giving a card, leave it somewhere where she’ll discover it, such as on top of the children’s dresser or in her nanny log book. The unexpected thank you is what makes giving the token of appreciation special.
If a project seems like too much work, simply writing a handmade thank you card for no specific reason or having the children greet the nanny at the door and then sing her a favorite song she taught them will be cherished expressions of gratitude.
When nannies feel like their work is appreciated, they become more vested in their position. Since nannies work independently, there’s typically no employer around to give daily feedback or to notice the level of care she puts into completing even the most mundane job tasks, like loading the dishwasher or folding the kids laundry.
While it would be normal to show your nanny appreciation for something she’s done above and beyond the call of duty, showing appreciation just because you are grateful of the role she plays in your family will go a long way to boost confidence, morale, job commitment, and performance.

The Feminine Charm

I wonder what Jesus would say of this nice vicar who has been able to double the presences at church in a short time.
She left her top job at NHS, seeing drop her salary, but she declared to feel so happy as it can't be, on her charge at Catherham, Surrey (GB).
She's marry to a Firm Consultant and is 29 years old.
She's very skillful on Bible reading and has a Theology degree.

Her name is Stephanie Nadarajah.
I hope not to bother anyone if I say that Jesus would be very happy of such a charmant woman who spends her charm for spread His word all over, attracting new presences to Church.

Best lover in the world

Never mind with Casanova and Don Juan; no matter with Warren Beatty and Simenon (who stopped at only 1000); don't mention late latin lover Rudolph Valentino and any other lover from Italy; unfortunately for the discendents of  Roman consul Antonio (who was one of his best characters in the movies) the best lover of any time is Welsh actor Richard Burton who made love with 2.500 women (I say twothousandandfivehundred!).
Well! These are only numbers, one could say!
As matter of fact it seems that poor Richard Burton was a sex addict: it means he just was ill, not sane, like an unlucky drugaddict o alcholist if you prefer!
Make up your mind and think what you want about!
I'm  personally convinced that a man, when is happy with a woman, must make love only to her. And not only for religious or moral  convincement; when a man searchs other female's favors, it means that he's not happy at all!

Who is stronger?

Since ever There is a quarrel about whom has got the supremacy between men and women.
Now, a recent research conducted by professor Tom Kirkwood shows definetly that the sceptre of supremacy belongs to women.
It seems to be a matter of biology: women are more skillful on rebuilding the cells destroyed by the time, while men are simply disposed to let them die.
That's why women live more than men.
And in the other animals the gap is still larger: female live more than ten years more than their males.

A regretful man

Though an old one, I think a man can choose to to do what he likes of his life; even deciding to become a woman.

But what does it happen if a man, after many gender reassignement operation to become a woman, decides to revert to his life as a man?

That's what really happened to Charles Kane, DM on line reports.

Of course Nature does make some confusion, sometimes.

But let me say one thing then: we can make much more confusion in our brain.

So let's stay things as they are, specially if there are our kids involved.

To know more by Helen Wheathers on Daily Mail On Line:

"British-based businessman Charles Kane has spoken publicly of how ultimately he found a woman's life boring, tired of fashion, hated the female hormonal fluctuations, and missed being taken seriously by men.
'There are some regretters, but I have spoken to other people who are very happy having made the transition,' says Jane,'I don't know if I will miss what is perceived as male privilege. I know that writing as John Ozimek I will receive 40,000 hits on the internet, while as Jane Fae I have received around two.'
For now, though, Jane feels liberated. The newness of being able to browse a make-up counter, buy a nice dress and wear pretty shoes is exciting. She is planning on growing her hair into a bob, and might even go blonde.
And Andrea will be by her side, advising her on how to look and act as a woman.
'I can see strangers looking at her, moving their eyes up and down the body,' says Andrea. 'They see the women's clothes and the elegant walk and then they see the head and the two don't go together at the moment, but they will.'
Jane has yet to take all John's men's clothes to the charity shop - ' just in case' - but she thinks she will start getting rid of them soon. Andrea wants to keep a couple of her favourite shirts. The ones she liked to see John wearing.
No, this is not proving to be at all easy for either of them. Can there be a happy ending?
Last week, after seven years of waiting, Andrea finally received her marriage proposal. From Jane, not John. She accepted. They will both now wear dresses, with Jane joking that she wants the bigger 'meringue', before conceding that a slim, column gown would suit her better.
It is not what Andrea envisaged for herself when she first met John Ozimek, but she loves Jane Fae now. In her eyes, they remain one and the same

The Poem of Creation - Second Part

Continues from Monday, February the 8th 2010 - God, after creating all the animals, does want to make the man in His image and likeness!

The World’s Creation
II
“Fly off all birds”- said God- “freely in the air
And splash about in to sea any fish;
Graze lambs, calves and livestock everywhere
In grassy lawns that will never languish;
Grow up any reptiles fair and unfair,
living beings either monstrous or polish!”
After the earth had all animals found
God said to them to multiply around.

And finally He said: - “ Let’s make now man
In our image and likeness, every
And each animal to lead on command!”
After doing that He rested quietly.
Henceforward, after six days, on the land
man, on the seventh, stays steady Godly,
being it consecrated for prairie and rest,
Both the last hours and also the first!

But the Creation was not yet complete
Still being missed the breath of the Animator
Who can transform into a giant a bit!
Waters from earth going up by Creator
To mist all over the ground were admit
So could mould the man God the Great Factor
and by that divine blow the man was made
but nevertheless, he still lonely stayed.

.....to be continued.....
